Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, has directed the Task Force on Human Trafficking to commence immediate prosecution of those found complicit in trafficking children.
Governor Ishaku, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Anthony Jellason, gave the directive at the sensitization against Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants in Jalingo, the state capital.
He said his earlier constitution and inauguration of the task force teams was his eminent response to the menace.
The Governor assured civil society groups that his administration will leave no stone unturned in eradicating the menace.
