Disturbed by the spate of killings resulting from cult clashes in some areas of Osun State, the State government has vowed that it will stop at nothing to ensure those perpetrating violence are made to pay for their actions along with their sponsors.
A statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode described the incidents as criminal and dastardly.
The statement noted that this followed recent instances of cult-related violence in Ilesa and Ede towns.
It assured residents of the state that the various security agencies are working together to apprehend the perpetrators and deal with them according to the law.
