Imo NSCDC Calls for Support of Security Agencies

Imo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has said that insecurity cannot lead to the displacement of population in the state.

This was disclosed by the State Commandant of NSCDC, Ogar Blessing during the International Day for Civil Defence Celebration in Owerri, the State Capital.

Ogar said the International Day for Civil Defence brings to the knowledge of the general public the dangers of insecurity, illegal oil bunkering and other crimes.

The Commandant added that the day harp on the need to live in peace and to  support security agencies in the fight against crime and criminality.
