The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Umar Danbatta, has said that the current efforts of the Commission to facilitate deployment of the Fifth Generation, 5G, technology will further catalyze the innovativeness and creativity of the entertainment industry in the country.
Danbatta, who was represented by the NCC’s Head of Media and Public Relations, Grace Ojougboh, stated this in an address delivered at the Nollywood Economic Outlook 2022 organized in Lagos State.
He said the 5G will revolutionize how content is produced, distributed, and consumed, adding that the technology will transform businesses leading to higher productivity improvements.
