LCCI Calls for Gender Equality in Governance

Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI, has called for social reforms that put gender equality and sustainability at the center of governance.

LCCI President, Michael Olawale-Cole, made the call in a statement issued on Tuesday to commemorate the International Women’s Day.

The statement emphasized the need for women to be given equal access to resources for them to add more value to society.

It maintained that women’s representation and leadership drives better performance and is more sensitive to environmental outcomes.
