Sacked Ebonyi Speaker Appeals Judgment

The Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Francis Nwifiru, has said the 17 members of the house who were sacked by the Federal High Court, have appealed the judgment.

Nwifuru disclosed this while briefing newsmen alongside other members of the assembly at his lodge in Abakaliki, the state capital.

He urged members of their constituents to remain calm and law-abiding; assuring that the law will take its cause.
