The Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Faruk Yahaya, has warned that he will not accept excuses from commanders as they lead troops in addressing the country’s security concerns.
Yahaya gave the warning at the opening of the Combined Second and Third Quarter Chief of Army Staff Conference today in Abuja.
He stated that the army under his command would remain steadfast and develop progressive paths to meet the challenges.
The Army Chief informed commanders that he was committed to rebuilding the troops’ fighting skills, capability, confidence, and morale throughout all theaters of operations.
