The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has faulted President, Muhammadu Buhari’s recent approval of deployment of additional security personnel in the South-East.
A statement issued by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, stated that the path to lasting peace and security in south east is true federalism which allows state governors to have control over security agents.
The statement berated the deployment of extra security agents, adding such moves worsen the security crisis in Imo and other South-East states.
