To commemorate the World Tuberculosis Day with the theme, “Invest to end TB. Save lives” imolites have been advised to join the fight against the disease.
In an interview with Boss News, the Chairman Nigerian Medical Association Imo state chapter, Dr. Okpara describes the infection.
Okpara further states the measures to be taken so as to curb the viral infection.
Also speaking, a final year medical student, Imabin Emmanuel recounts symptoms of the disease as well as its prevention.
World tuberculosis day is held every 24th of March.
