Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has restated his administration’s commitment towards promoting hard working civil servants in the state.
Ortom gave the assurance while swearing in Chairman and members of the State Civil Service Commission on Monday.
He stressed that the civil service can only work properly if it is well taken care of, adding that his government has taken the welfare of civil servants as top priority.
The Governor charged civil servants to sustain their understanding and patience with the government, assuring that the issue of salary arrears, pensions and gratuity will be settled.
