The Federal Government has hailed the Edo state government for their investment in the agricultural sector.
The state Coordinator for the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Wellington Omoragbon, disclosed this statement in Benin City the state capital.
According to the statement, the programme is designed to accelerate food production, processing and marketing along the various agrobusiness value chain.
It further noted the state government attracted over $531m in the last nine months to the palm oil sector through the Edo State Oil Palm Programme.
