Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong has stressed that his administration will not allow terrorists settle in any part of the state.
A statement issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Macham Makut, condemned the attacks, describing it as an irresponsible act.
The statement maintained that the State will not be used as a safe haven for terrorists to wreak havoc on communities and innocent citizens.
It noted that the State Security Council has adopted measures to strengthen security and enhance the capacity of security agencies.
Terrorists were said to have killed over 70 persons in several communities and burnt several houses belonging to the natives during the attacks which occurred on Sunday.
