Adamawa State Government has recorded 55 deaths during a recent cholera outbreak in the state.
The state Commissioner for Health, Isa Abdullahi, said the state had declared an outbreak of the disease in July 2021.
Abdullahi stated that since the beginning of the Cholera outbreak in the state, 1,959 suspected cases with 55 deaths have been recorded.
The Commissioner added that the state government collaborated with development partners in containing the outbreak.
