The leadership of the National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has faulted the ruling of the National Industrial Court, Abuja, directing its members to return to work.
According to reports, NARD disclosed that it is seeking a stay of execution order due to denial of fair hearing with the federal government.
Meanwhile, the Association has asked its members to continue with the nationwide strike embarked upon.
Recall that the court ordered the striking doctors to resume work with immediate effect following a ruling by Justice Bashar Alkali today and directed the federal government and the Association to proceed with their applications with its motion on notice due to parties’ failure to reach definite terms of settlement.
