Delta State House of Assembly has passed the anti-open grazing bill.
Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Sheriff Oborevwori, expressed happiness over the development, noting that residents of the state would be happy with the passage of the bill.
Majority Leader of the House, Ferguson Onwo, moved the motion for the passage of the bill after the chairman of the House Committee on Special Bills, Pat Ajudua, presented the report on the floor of the House.
The bill, when accented to by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, would prohibit the carrying of firearms, address arbitrary rearing and movements of livestock in the state.
