Ebonyi Deputy Governor denies defection report

Ebonyi State Deputy Governor, Kelechi Igwe, has denied report of his alleged defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Labour Party, LP.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, Iqwe noted that he has no intention to dump APC for LP.

The statement described the report as false and a smear to his office.

It urged members of the Party and the general public to disregard such unfounded rumor.
