INEC debunks operating polling units in Niger Republic

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has debunked rumors that the Commission is operating Polling Units in Niger Republic.

Chairman of the Commission Mahmood Yakubu maintained that the constitution does not allow the conduct of elections outside Nigeria’s territory.

Recall that report had it that INEC has been registering voters in some parts of the neighboring Country.
