Lagos State Government has warned owners of all structures on drainage alignments and setbacks to relocate to higher grounds.
State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tunji Bello, gave the warning in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The statement noted that many of such buildings have been marked in Mende, Maryland and Aboru in Alimosho Area of the State for contraventions of drainage alignments and would soon be demolished.
It advised residents of such areas to relocate in order to safeguard lives and properties.
