United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Leonard, has pledged that the Joe Biden administration will continue to stand by Nigeria in spite of the economic and security challenges confronting the West African Nation.
Leonard stated this today during an OP-ED titled, Reflections on 61 years of U.S – Nigerian Engagement in Abuja.
She said the US Mission in Nigeria recognize that security and economic concerns weigh on the minds of all Nigerians, noting that it has been working in solidarity with the Nigerian government to address the challenges together.
The American envoy revealed that the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and the United State is strong and based on mutual interest, adding that all Nigerians have a role to play in improving security.
