Abia State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has denied insinuation that the state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu is working for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.
A statement issued by a member of the State PDP Campaign Council, John Kalu, noted that the speculation exists in the imagination of the writer.
The statement maintained that Ikpeazu has made his position known in public and private engagements with party leaders at state and federal levels that he is in the Party for the long haul.
It added that the Governor believes that rectifying the anomalies will give the South East a foothold to level with our people.
