President Muhammadu Buhari has restated the determination of his administration to achieve the vision 30 gigawatts of energy by the year 2030.
A statement issued by his Special Assistant, Garba Shehu, outlined the comprehensive Energy Transition Plan unfolded by his administration in response to the issues associated with the climate change.
The statement stressed that the Nigerian government had embarked on several reforms, on mini-grid regulations as well as the integration of renewable energy into the national grid.
It further revealed that some of the reforms had positively impacted the energy sector in Nigeria.
