The Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi has reiterated the federal government’s commitment in the provision of welfare for military officers on the frontline.
A statement issued by his Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mohammad Abdulkadri, on Wednesday disclosed that the troops need adequate welfare for high morale.
The statement revealed the government’s commitment towards the current high morale of the military through sustainable welfare package in line of duty.
It noted that the Minister, while aligning with the lofty objectives of the association in the areas of promoting unity and providing welfare support to members urged them to be resolute in giving their best in their service to the nation.
