Reports say the suspended Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Ari is in police custody.
A police source confirmed that Ari is in police custody.
The Commissioner had courted controversy after the supplementary election in the State on April 15, when he announced Binani as the winner of the poll while collation of results was ongoing.
Security agencies had also been ordered to arrest and prosecute the embattled REC but his whereabouts was unknown for over two weeks.
