Former Barcelona defender, Dani Alves, is probably to face 12 years in prison for an alleged sexual assault in a Spanish nightclub.
Alves has been in custody since January 20th, following allegations of sexual assault by a 23-year-old woman at a nightclub.
He has denied the allegations, but his requests to be released on bail have been rejected, and he remains in custody at Brians 2.
His trial is expected to be held between October and November, he could face up to 12 years in prison if found guilty.
