Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has on Tuesday lost all his seven nominations in the 2023 BET Awards.
Burna Boy was nominated in the following categories; ‘Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip-Hop Video’, ‘Best Collaboration’, ‘Best Live Performer’, ‘Lyricist of the Year’, and ‘Hustler of the Year’.
The award took place at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on October 3, 2023, and broadcasted on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, American singer and rapper, Kendrick Lamar, emerged as the night’s biggest winner, taking home four prizes.
