The Delta State Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers and recovered one AK-47 magazine in Agbor-Obi, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, disclosed this in a statement in Asaba, on Thursday.
Edafe disclosed that operatives of Agbor Area Command while acting on credible intelligence, stormed Kelubia Street Agbor-Obi and apprehended four suspects.
He also said that the command recovered two locally made cut-to-size guns, one AK-47 magazine loaded with five rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, three rounds of 5.56mm live ammunition, and two live cartridges among others.
He added that the suspects and exhibits are in police custody while investigation has commenced to arrest other members of the criminal gang.
