A Catholic Priest in owerri,Reverend Father, Emmanuel Ehioma, popularly known as Fada mento, on Saturday apologized to a family, Osueke of Amaohuru Nguru in Aboh Mbaise council area of Imo state, over a comment he made about the Osueke family.
Fada mento, in a statement made available to newsmen in Owerri, tagged it public apology regarding the comment he made on the social media concerning the said family.
It was gathered that the clergy’s viral comment was linked to Osueke, which claimed that the deceased Chinwe of Osueke family was allegedly abandoned by her family before her death. However, it was later found out it was not the true situation.
The Catholic priest said his decision to apologize was a healing process adding that it was a mistake and he regretted calling out the family.
According to the Catholic Priest it was heartbroken and pained for what has happened to a friend but I think I went too far. Expressing regrets and sorrow was one thing but calling out an entire family was to an extreme.”
