Ebonyi State Government says that the law on legislative and Judiciary autonomy recently passed by the State House of Assembly will strengthen the workings of government.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Uchenna Orji during an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Abakaliki, the state capital.
Orji noted that the law is an Executive Bill that was conceptualized by the Executive Council and sent to the House of Assembly for legislation.
The Commisioner, however, stated that the autonomy of the three arms of government would deepen good governance and strengthen democracy.
