The House of Representatives has summoned the Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele, the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed and the Comptroller General of Customs, Hameed Ali over the customs modernisation project.
The resolution followed a motion of matter of urgent public importance moved by a member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Leke Abejide from Kogi State.
The officials are to appear before the committees on customs, finance and banking and currency, who have been mandated to carry out an investigation into the E-Customs project.
The Managing Director of Adani Mega System Limited and the Chairman CBN Technical Committee on CISS are also to appear before the committees.
