National Security and Intelligence Expert Seyi Adetayo has criticized the escape of Binance Executive Nadeem Anjarwalla from custody in Nigeria, deeming it a national embarrassment.
Adetayo, a former Department of State Security member, expressed his concerns during an interview with the newsmen
Following the escape, the Nigerian government launched a manhunt for Anjarwalla, who was under a 14-day remand order for tax evasion and other charges, and scheduled to reappear in court on April 4th.
He suggested that a contract organization or foreign government intelligence may have sponsored the escape, pointing out possible corruption among security agents.
