Imo specialist hospital plan mass burial for unclaimed corpses.

The authorities of Imo Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri, have given the owners of abandoned bodies in its mortuary in the past three weeks deadline to claim them or they get mass burial.
The action follows large number of abandoned bodies found at the hospital’s mortuary.
The Chief Medical Director, Kaunda Ibebuike, in a statement yesterday, urged those whose relatives are missing to check the mortuary within the specified period.
He said if the bodies are not claimed, the management plans to conduct mass burial.
