The Defence Headquarters says it has completed the investigation into the bombing of Tudun Biri village in Kaduna state.
It said the probe indicted two Nigerian Army officers.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Edward Buba, who revealed this during a press briefing at Defence Headquarters on Thursday, May 2, said officers would face court-martial as the operation should not have occurred in the first place.
The news said that several villagers were killed when the Nigerian Army drone bombed some Muslim worshipers at Tudun Biri village in Kaduna State, on December 3, 2023. Responding to questions from journalists, the defence spokesperson said that two officers were responsible for the incident.
