FG fixes date to open student loan portal

The Nigerian government has announced that the application portal for the much-awaited student loan will open on Friday, May 24.
Spokesman of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, Nasir Ayitogo, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
The loan scheme allows students to access loans to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints.
The development came eight months after President Tinubu announced that the programme would not kick off in September 2023.
