Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has criticized the administration’s decision to reinstate the old national anthem, questioning its relevance amid the country’s severe hardships and governance issues.
Henshaw expressed her concerns on social media, sarcastically suggesting that reverting to a colonial-era anthem would not alleviate the nation’s struggles or restore patriotism.
She highlighted the ongoing challenges, including excoriating hardship and a lack of good governance, and in another post, she lamented that the efforts of past heroes seem to be disregarded.
