Nigeria has urged world leaders to back United States President Joe Biden’s ceasefire proposal to halt the escalating violence in the Israel-Palestine conflict in a bold appeal for peace.
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, made the call for immediate global action to protect innocent lives.
In a statement signed by his media aide, AlKasim Abdulkadir, on Sunday,
he assured the United States of Nigerian government’s support to bring about a complete cessation of violence and an end to the senseless loss of human lives and manmade humanitarian crises.
The minister emphasised the need for a coordinated internation effort to resolve the conflict, and urged other world leaders to back the Biden’s ceasefire proposal to halt the violence in the Israel-Palestine conflict in a bold appeal for peace.
