President Bola Tinubu has signed the Judicial Office Holders Salaries and Allowances Bill 2024 into law.
This was made known in a statement by The Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, Basheer Lado, in Abuja on Tuesday afternoon,
The statement also states that the new law prescribes improved salaries and allowances for the nation’s judicial office holders.
According to Lado, the newly signed in law prescribes salaries and allowances, for Judicial Officers that reflect the changing realities and consequentially amend the provisions of the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders.
He described the signing of the Bill into law by the President as a landmark achievement and a manifestation of his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Nigeria’s workforce.
