Ukrainian local officials on Tuesday said overnight Russian air attacks injured no fewer than eight people, set a private business on fire, and damaged residential buildings around Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s air force also said it shot down 65 drones, while 28 more did not reach their targets in the barrage.
Regional governor Oleh Syniehubov disclosed that a 62-year-old woman was hospitalized, and a 66-year-old man was injured when drone debris damaged several houses in the Kharkiv district, which includes the city of the same name.
According to Ukraine’s state emergency service, the fire engulfed production facilities, adding that two people suffered acute stress reactions, including a child.
It was not immediately clear what facility was burning; however, video footage showed massive flames coming from what looked like an industrial building as Russia continues it’s aggressive invasion of Ukraine since February 2022.
