Scottish-Nigerian actress Carolyna Hutchings has shared her struggles with racism while growing up in Nigeria as a mixed-race child.
In a recent interview, Hutchings revealed that she faced bullying and racism throughout her primary and secondary school years due to her skin color and hair texture.
She also spoke about experiencing racism in the workplace, despite her impressive educational background, which includes an MBA, an MSA in international law, and a doctorate.
The actress shared that as a beautiful, mixed-race woman, she often faced criticism and stigma, particularly as a divorcee; however, she emphasized that she has developed thick skin and persevered through these challenges.
