The Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has urged governors from the south-east to float a security outfit to address the crux of insecurity challenges across the region.
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by Ohanaeze’s factional Deputy National President, Okechukwu Isiguzo.
The group, through its leader, expressed its concern regarding the surging rise of insecurity plaguing beloved Southeastern Nigeria, proposing that the new security outfit would offer Biafra agitators and gunmen amnesty to lay down their arms.
