Former Super Eagles midfielder, Karibe Ojigwe has been sworn in as Commissioner for Sports in Abia State.
Ojigwe was sworn in by the State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, to serve in the State Executive Council.
The 44 –year old who was a member of the Golden Eaglets that won the 1993 U-17 World Cup in Japan, replaces Emeka Ikwuagwu.
He spent most of his playing career in Germany, playing for FC Koln, Kaiserslautern, Bayer Leverkusen, 1860 Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach.
