Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has declared 2nd of November a work-free day to enable workers in the public and private sectors actively participate in the state’s Annual Thanksgiving service.
This was disclosed in a Statement by the Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Ayibaina Duba, on Monday in Yenagoa
The statement stated that the decision was backed by the state annual thanksgiving law and urged the people of Bayelsa to join hands with the state government to appreciate God Almighty for His mercies and abundant blessings for people of the state.
