The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, says many Nigerians were yet to benefit from the Basic Health Care Provision Fund.
Mustapha, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Political and Economic Affairs Office, David Adejo, disclosed this during the inauguration of the 15-man Committee on Basic Health Care Provision Fund in Abuja yesterday.
He stated that the scheme was established six years ago to provide quality basic health care services to all Nigerians especially the poor, noting that only a few had benefited from it.
The Secretary urged members of the committee to proffer recommendations as action plans to fast track the progress of implementation.
