The Ministry of Education has directed the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, to conduct National Identification Number, NIN, registration for candidates sitting for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE.
A memorandum issued to zonal coordinators, charged Branch Controllers and Officers in Charge of Offices, to sensitize all school Candidates and all stakeholders in their areas of jurisdiction on the new development.
It maintained that the candidates with NIN would be eligible to register for WASSCE.
