A women advocacy group, African Women Forum for Good Governance, AWFG, has praised Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano for recognizing and rewarding Ngozi Onuegbusi, after she refused a N5,000 bribe offered her by a political party during the just concluded election in the state.
The chairperson of AWFG, Justice Chinwe Iyizoba, lauded Obiano for recognizing Onuegbusi, adding that such could serve as a morale booster to other women.
Governor Willie Obiano on Thursday gave N1 million in appreciation to the woman who was seen in a viral video rejecting a bribe from a corrupt party agent.
