Musa Ends Goal Drought in Turkish Cup

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, ended his three-month goal drought in style as Fatih Karagumruk defeated Sariyer 2-0 in the fourth round of the Turkish Cup on Wednesday.

Musa moved to the Turkish Super Lig on a free transfer in July after a brief return to Kano Pillars and failed to find the back of the net in his last 11 league games.

Prior to his goal in the Turkish Cup on Wednesday, his last goal for Fatih Karagumruk was in their 3-2 victory over Gaziantep on August 14.

The Nigerian captain has now contributed two goals and an assist in 13 league outings.
