FG to Treat Kidnappers as Terrorist

The Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami has said kidnappers have been declared as terrorists.

Malami, who disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, noted that the recent court declaration would soon be published and that all the relevant security agencies had been notified.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had on Thursday last week declared bandits as terrorists.

The ruling had followed an ex parte motion filed by the Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, Mohammed Abubakar
