Federal Government to Implement NLTP

The Federal Government says the implementation of the National livestock transformation Plan, NLTP, will close the dairy importation gaps and address other challenges to livestock development in Nigeria.

This was disclosed in a statement by Information Officer, in the ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Juliet Okeh, on Tuesday.

The statement revealed that the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project, L-PRES, will assist in the actualization of the NLTP.

The statement noted that the project will facilitate the achievement of food security.
