Venezia forward, David Okereke, is set to be out of action for three weeks after suffering a muscle injury in his side’s 4-3 loss to Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A.
The 24-year-old who missed the team’s 4-0 loss to Atalanta on November 30 due to a hamstring injury was rushed back into action against Verona but lasted just seven minutes before falling to the ground unchallenged.
The Nigerian was taken off for Dennis Johnsen as he could not continue the game and according to the latest reports, he is set to be sidelined for the next couple of weeks.
