Sultan warns Nigerians against politicizing insecurity

The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, has warned political and religious leaders as well as all Nigerians against politicizing insecurity in the country.

Speaking at a retreat in Abuja, the Sultan assessed the nation’s security situation decried the spate of killings in the country.

He implored the government to provide a stable environment for Nigerians to observe their religious beliefs.

The Sultan, however, called for cooperation among all Nigerians regardless of their political, religious or ethnic differences.
