Edo government to tackle human trafficking through job creation

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has said his administration is tackling illegal migration and human trafficking through job creation and entrepreneurship programmes.

Obaseki, pledged that his administration would ensure that youths in the state were adequately empowered.

He noted that his administration had made remarkable success in tackling human trafficking and illegal migration.

The Governor added that before 2015, the image of the State was bad and Benin City was synonymous with trafficking.
